Chuck Wagon Gang

Eighty years that have brought accolades and honors for a group that began singing on local  radio in 1935, and that went on to play Carnegie Hall, the Hollywood Bowl, and the Grand Ole Opry.
“Singing Chuck Wagon Gang music, there’s nothing to hide behind, and nothing to lean on,” Smith says. “It’s bare-bones, just voices and guitar, and that’s what creates that unique sound. It’s like the hard beginnings they all came from: Raw and tough, and you have to put it all out there.”

Steve Green

As Steve celebrates 32 years in the Christian music industry, he fondly remembers his fledgling beginning in 1984 when Steve Green Ministries was established.

After two years in college, two years with the group TRUTH, and five years with the Gaithers, the door opened for Steve to make his first recording with Sparrow Records. Following a significant spiritual awakening, Steve and Marijean began responding to invitations from churches all over America. “Looking back on it,” Steve recalls, “I’m amazed at God’s patience and condescending love. In my case it is certainly true that God delights in choosing the least likely. In my early years I was full of zeal and determined to get it all right, but blind to much self-righteousness and pharisaical pride. Thank God for His continuing mercy!”

soaked Ozark Mountains. They have created a Southern Raised trademark sound where classical meets
bluegrass and city streets meets country roads. SR has morphed a progressive sound that spans
Christian Country/ Bluegrass, Celtic and Classical. They’re talented, they’re energetic, they’re Southern
Raised. You will hear Beethoven’s 5th like never B4, as the two genres become one at the hand of
Southern Raised and when the siblings croon a ballad, it is nothing short of breathtaking. Be prepared

Ivan recalls singing in Africa and looking over the crowd. “It was amazing seeing all of these people on the other side of the world singing this song word for word and worshiping God. When I was notified in 2007 that this song had gone to the number one position on the radio charts in Europe I was astounded but was reminded that all things are possible through God.
